Yoga Classes

ZenYoga combines the foundational principles of Yoga Therapy with the postures, breathing and meditation practices established in the ancient Hatha Yoga tradition, to provide an holistic practice to enhance bodily strength and flexibility and assist in the management of stress, anxiety and depression.

ZenYoga provides guidance and tools to people from all walks of life in the application of yoga postures, relaxation techniques, simple breathing practices, and where required, establishing a steady home yoga practice to assist those on their journey towards recovery.

Our sessions are taught by Michelle Bouverie, (founder of ZenYoga and public speaker for beyondblue) who brings nearly a decade of teaching experience to your clients. With that experience, she brings a knowledgeable and light hearted approach, and draws on her own experience with anxiety and depression, and on her applied methods towards reaching a state of recovery.

The tools and guidance in postures, breathing, relaxation and meditation provided are simple and easy to follow, and encourage those students who want to make time to develop their own personal home yoga and/or breathing and/or meditation practice.

ZenYoga caters for people from all walks of life, from primary school age to those at retirement age.

We look forward to bringing ZenYoga to your clients, friends, colleagues, students, employees or you personally for a one on one session.

ZenYoga sessions incorporate asana (posture),  pranayama (breathing practices) and meditation, as well as an invitation through the sessions to connect with the positive aspects in our lives.  Sessions run for an hour and half, and our General Sessions suit all levels of strength and flexibility.

ZenYoga Intermediate & Advanced level sessions are an hour and a half session and inspire students to take their practice deeper in asana (posture), pranayama (breathing practices) and meditation.
